On February 12, Grove Financial & Associates, Inc. volunteered in the New Hope Ministries kitchen in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Employees there felt compelled to give their time to New Hope because of the nonprofit’s widespread outreach programs in the community.
In 2019 New Hope Ministries served just over 22,000 individuals from 9,132 households. In addition to food provided at all center locations, New Hope also has a mobile food pantry which provides guests the opportunity to receive food when they cannot get to one of the seven centers. They also conduct a Back Pack Supplemental Nutrition program in partnership with local school districts. The program provides nutritious and easy-to-make food for children of low-income families at the end of each week when school meals are unavailable.
